Tree Bed
Oakland-based artist Shawn Lovell makes each bed by hand, crafting it from wrought iron that's then oiled and waxed. It takes about two months from date of order to shipment.
There are a limited number of these beds, and each is signed, numbered and dated.
A queen-size is $13,500 plus shipping and crating, at Shawn Lovell Metalworks.

I doubt I can afford it, but that is a truly lovely bed.
That is breathtaking. I would kill to wake up in this bed...not to mention the play of light that probably happens with sunlight, or artificial light at night.
Knowing me, I'd be hanging all kinds of worn clothing and used towels on the branches...
But seriously, this is beautiful. And if you wanted to, there are lovely seasonal things you could do with it, right?
I mean really, if you HAVE $13K then just get it, because it's just so beautiful.
Methinks the nest is a bit much.
