Art in the Avenues

Len Finocchio shoots empty rooms and makes them poignant and beautiful. His photos make you want to throw out all your furniture, the better to enjoy the light as it travels across your floor and walls.

Finocchio's work was on display this weekend at Art in the Avenues, a show and sale of works by the Sunset Artists Society, an organization for artists who live or work in that neck of the woods. Highlights of the show follow the jump.

His interior stuff.

I think his work is more interesting and it's "darker."
